SMSServer is an add-on for CitectSCADA that lets you notify via SMS and/or email alarms coming from the plant. SMSServer is fully compatible with Vijeo Citect.

New features of version 3.00

Clusters support: the new cluster management, introduced by CitectSCADA since version 7.0 is now supported.

SMS notification repetition: it is now possibile to repeat periodaically the delivery of notification SMS, until the alarm is remotely acknowledged or a notification timeout is elapsed.

Advanced alarm filters: you can set alarm notification filters using wildcars too, in order to group many different alarms writing only few filter strings.

Delivery/receiving activity monitor: you can see the sent/received messages archive, and the result of remote acknowledge operations. Moreover, you can see counters for sent SMSs and Emails, globally and for the current day.

On-line changes: all the changes made on application parameters will be effectively running instantly, because they don't require a application restart.

New interface: user interface has a completely new look and more intuitive functionalities, such as a drag and drop association between contacts and gourps.

Command Line: you can set interface opening and closing parameters using command line options.

Windows Vista compatibility: SMSServer is now compatible to Windows Vista OS.

Server redundancy and remote connection

You can enable CitectSCADA redundancy in SMSServer and set connection parameters to the
primary server and to stand-by server (local or remote connection), in order to get always SMSServer support
and catch event or failures. |

Send SMS
In accord with the calendar, people receive immediately a SMS for every monitored alarm. The details sent can be selected, as the alarms type. It's beyond possible to do the remote acknowledge of supervision alarms sending the same SMS received to the modem.
Send e-mails
In the same way it's possible to send emails for each incoming alarm. To send emails you have only to have a valid email server connection. You can also send attachments and SMTP authentication is supported.
Hardware required
In order to send the SMS can be used a simply mobile phone with internal modem, connecting it to the PC through serial, USB or Bluetooth connection. |
Address book and calendar
SMSServer is equipped with an address book and a calendar by means of which it is possible to quickly define the persons, or groups of persons, to which notify alarms and time scheduling.
Now you can send only some specific alarm types
to a person, belonging to a specific category. So you can send alarm messages to different persons, according to the alarm category that occured.

SMSServer can be integrated in the CitectSCADA project using the command line options to show and hide SMSServer interface on your SCADA project page. |
Multilanguage
SMSServer is a multi-language application and supports the following languages: english, italian, german and spanish.

Easy to customize
SMSServer is strongly configurable and allows to select single alarms or categories of alarm, or groups of alarms and groups of categories of alarm. |

You can download and try the demo version, valid 60 days from the installation, complete of all the features.
Lite Version
Lite version is free, it lets you to send a maximum of 5 messages and it runs for 1 hour.
Price independent from project size
The cost of the licences of SMSServer is independent from the number of alarms to notify. This is an economic and expandable solution. |
